MONTEN
Electrical engineering and energy infrastructure

Projects

Electrical infrastructure projects delivered across Kosovo’s power network.

Monten’s project experience includes substation reconstruction, new substation delivery, transformer installation, metering infrastructure, and GIS substation work. These projects support stronger supply security, improved system reliability, and better power distribution for communities, institutions, and industrial users.

Palaj substation project 110 kV Reconstruction
Substation Reconstruction

Reconstruction of 110 kV “Palaj” Substation

This project included the reconstruction of the 110 kV “Palaj” Substation and the construction of a new 110/35 kV line, strengthening supply security for industrial users, pumping infrastructure, and nearby communities.

Prishtina 7 substation project 2 x 40 MVA Capacity
New Substation

110/10(20) kV “Prishtina 7” Substation

Built with installed power of 2 x 40 MVA, this substation improved service for multiple neighborhoods, supported the water utility and mining operations, and strengthened supply security for critical loads including QKUK.

Transformer installation project Transformer Installation
Transformer Installation

TR3, 40 MVA at 110/10(20) kV “Prishtina 2”

Installation of the TR3 40 MVA transformer at the 110/10(20) kV “Prishtina 2” substation, supporting increased transformation capacity and improved reliability within existing high-value infrastructure.

Metering groups installation project 400 kV / 220 kV / 110 kV
Metering

Commercial Border Metering Group Installation

Monten installed measurement groups and upgraded metering systems across 400 kV, 220 kV, and 110 kV interconnection lines, improving commercial measurement accuracy and system reliability.

GIS infrastructure project Multi-Site GIS Delivery
GIS Infrastructure

Prishtina, Fushe Kosova, Mitrovica, Theranda, Drenasi

GIS substation delivery across multiple locations, including work as a subcontractor to ABB entities, contributing to stronger supply security, lower distribution losses, and better power flow optimization.

Project Standard

Infrastructure work requires clarity before, during, and after delivery.

  • Clear understanding of the network, facility, or community being served.
  • Defined technical scope, voltage level, capacity, and site responsibilities.
  • Coordination with stakeholders, contractors, utilities, and project partners.
  • Execution focused on safe delivery and dependable operation after completion.

Proven Experience

Monten’s portfolio reflects work on systems where reliability has direct public and operational impact.

From substations and transformers to metering systems and GIS infrastructure, Monten’s project work contributes to stronger supply security, reduced losses, improved network performance, and more dependable service for the people and organizations connected to the grid.
